Pine Knolls and Morehead City

so, yesterday, 2.25.12, Kelly and i went up to the Pine Knolls aquarium! it is located up the coast a bit, about 2 hours away from wilmington. we were feeling like and adventure road trip, and we got it. :)

so, after the aquarium, we went and drove around atlantic beach, beaufort, and morehead city. a lot of it was closed down for the season, because it is winter, but it was still neat to drive around and see it all. stopped and got food at a little place called El's drive in, where they had burgers for 2 bucks, and we got shrimp burgers for 3. all in all, it was a fun day trip, and a great escape from school. :)
