Comics I Want

some people spend money on concerts. some spend it on clothes. I think that i want to spend the extra money i have on comics. ever since starting to read comics last year, i have had a wealth of stories to read, a great many of which are written quite well, contrary to the general idea that comics are not the highest form of media for writers. I argue that a great number of these are better written than a majority of Hollywood comic movies, and books.  I can honestly say i was more excited for the conclusion of the current Batman story-arc in comics that concluded last month, than i was for The Dark Knight Rises.

This is a list, probably more for my benefit than yours, of things that i want. it is going to take a long time to procure everything, but it is a long term goal of mine to have an extensive comic collection. all links go to amazon products.

my main focus and interest is the Dick Grayson era of Batman. I just enjoy him so much more than Bruce. so, the majority of my list of things that i want are in the era where bruce is gone. I find it is also a good starting point, since the batman mythos is so big, and so many story arcs, just focusing on the stuff with Dick as batman is simpler. basically all of it happens in print over the course of 2009-2011. crossed out things i already own. I have a lot of work to do. Stars are current priority.
