well i'd like to give you a picture, but this link will have to do instead...

look at that. it's been a whole week, and i actually found my way back here to write up another one of these thingys. although my days have been filled with untold chaos, i find this to be a safehaven for things that i love. side note - if you know me at all, you would be aware of the joke that was present in the last link. so anyways if i keep this weekly blog up it might become a regular thing... i will try to make sure that doesn't happen. well, nothing else to introduce, so lets get on with it.

School - i shortened this section out of laziness. also, i wrote everything out, and it really didn't seem like enough to warrant different sub-headings per class, as it ended up feeling repetitive. i guess by going through all that trouble and then redoing this section in this new fashion was really the complete opposite of lazy, but oh well. my first statement in the paragraph was false then, for the record.
on to school - dull. nothing of value has really been taught yet, save in sign language, where we are constantly learning in the 3-hour marathon that they call a 3 credit hour class, but i'm really just equating to a lab for one of my sciences, but rather than dissecting stuff, or mixing chemicals i'm miming my thoughts to others in hope of them having some kind of clue as to what kind of shape i was trying to draw in the air. but really the other classes are all melding together, into a conglomerate of useless knowledge. i found myself the other day typing out my notes for anthropology in my psychology file, and did not even notice because the material on the scientific method was exactly the same.

other stuff: beat batman. i am very pleased with myself on that one. now the only problem that i'm presented with is that i have no game to play that i haven't beaten. i do have this Uncharted thing, but it's really too much shooting at people and a bad Indiana Jones knock-off. plus the main character's kind of a dick, and not in the badass suave way like Han Solo or Jack Sparrow, but more akin to the jackass prep-boy who thinks because his dad donated a wing of the college he is god's gift to the earth.
the car this this past week was pretty much a bitch. luckily though it was the first real problem i've had with the CR-V and as long as Mik doesn't jinx it again, it should be good to go for a while... *knocks on wood*
i am getting that feeling from the start of a new semester in that it feels like it's been going on for a really long period of time already, but in reality it's only been 8 school days, since last wednesday. kinda weird how this part takes so long, and yet later in the semester the time just seems to fly on by.
i am currently looking into places to live next year, with all intentions of staying on campus. thus far the winner is the village. the biggest problem with that is the gamble of it. you see, it is a 12 month lease only. there is not a choice to have an academic lease like i have right now in the crossing, so i would be obligated to do 1 of 2 things during the summer of 2011. 1: find an internship that i would be able to do here in wilmington during the summer and still live in the village all summer long, commuting to wherever this internship is. it might be something off campus, or it could be something like working in someone's lab here on campus, i'm not really sure yet - it's too far off to tell. option 2: putting up flyers, oh i'd say starting this time next year, to lease out my place to stay over the summer months. that way they'd pay me, or the university, however it would work, for the use of the building during the summer months, while i go on my merry way. both are doable, and i think the slight inconvenience of both situations is well worth living there for the academic school year.

i finally found a picture!

that is all that is on my mind right now. now, for anyone dedicated enough to have finished this entire facade of relevant knowledge, i give you this.
