Bicycles

yes i know that's the same photo from my original Google+ post. only photo i have of my new bike. look at all the fucks i give.

So, as foreshadowed (and blatantly stated) earlier, here is my dedication post towards bicycles. be prepared for a lot of stuff wholly unrelated to bikes, and probably completely useless information

that's right. i'm repeating GIF's from old posts. this is even more applicable.

I've been riding a bike since... well for about as long as i can remember. always had a bike of some kind; first was the obligatory big-wheel tricycle thing, and i remember riding that when i was tiny. back in the old days, we lived on a court (also called a cul-de-sac, but we lived on beechcroft court, so we always just called it a court)

then, i got my first full sized bike, which was neon green & had originally belonged to my older cousin. just a standard kid's bike, and i rode it everywhere. then, one day, i was able to upgrade to my sister's 10-speed bike. that was my first big kid bike, and i loved it. me & my best friend devin, we rode our bikes all around the neighborhood.

finally, i think it was around 5th grade or so (because i know it was before we moved from beechcroft in 6th grade) i got my own bike. i'm pretty sure i had been bugging my mom about wanting my own bike for a while, and she finally decided i could have my own. i was so excited, because that was the first bike that was my bike. luckily enough for anyone who has known me in my college years, i don't have to include a description, because it was my yellow bike that i had in college! i loved that bike so much. unfortunately, a lot like my cars, i didn't ever bother to photograph it.

that was a lot of text and stuff. really should lighten the mood.
it's a GIF, just wait for it
my yellow biked lived an long, and very happy life. considering it only just now died when i am a senior in college, and i had it since 5th grade, i'd say it was probably time... still doesn't mean i didn't want it to live just another 8 months or so... oh well. my new bike is pretty!

let it be known, i would have rocked this around UNCW's campus if it was available.
I think that is about it for bikes from my point of view. i'd do history and shit, but who really cares? i am not a history person. :)

  1. So that's probably the best GIF I've ever seen (the Igor one). I wish I weren't so skittish around bikes. You make them seem so cool.
