This post will be peppered with semi-irrelevant pictures. it's how i role |
Google Blogs (formerly Blogger) which is the site that this is being posted on. it is still my primary blog, and connection to the interweb. it also houses my depository for recipes, so that is important. i post most of what is going on here, and it has been active since 2008, so it has been quite a while. as you can see, it has recently gotten an overhaul in design, which was helped by google's new ways of changing things around on the editing of the blog. it is very different, but much simpler to use. i approve.
Twitter @callaway17 which is the most versatile in its mannerisms. i can connect it to any one of the other sites i run. its primary usage by me is to make short updates to my Blogger site, as a way to not make a full post, but just small bits of info.
Tumblr my tumblr account. this is the home to my less personal posts, and more of a collection of internet things than anything. very humorous or useful things come up there, and it is a primary source of intertainment (internet + entertainment) for me. on the side of my Blogger there is a dedicated link to all the posts i have made or reblogged & a separate link to posts that i like. much less discriminatory with "likes" than i am with what i reblog.
I briefly tried a facebook account recently. it lasted from 4:20pm until 5:10pm on the same day. it took 50 minutes for me to be disgusted enough with myself, and the operating system that is facebook to dismiss it. it was not worth the effort, in my opinion. more thoughts are here.

cats are always relevant |
so these are my current links. the most experimental is google-plus, but i do hope that it is able to catch on when it is no longer in beta. that would be ideal, and allow me to connect to a select group of people i care enough to be in contact with.
perfect way to end a lecture of my internet dealings. |
