true story

so, middle of spring break and only a bit to report on. lets get it on.

car is fixed. it was an issue of a bad seal on the pan bellow the transmission, that was causing the leak. all fixed up for relatively cheap (especially compared to a new car). my car still shifts a bit funny when changing gears, but it hopefully that works itself out! i can deal with a very obvious gear shift, as long as nothing is fundamentally wrong with my car!

the epitome of angry-face

no south africa trip. stupid oil prices made the price of jet fuel skyrocket, raising the price of the trip nearly $1000. just isn't a feasible trip for me now, unfortunately. the bigger problem that arises from this snafu, is that i have to figure out what the hell my honors project is going to be on. some serious brainstorming over the next few weeks to come up with a project that i will be committed to, and interested in for the next year. i don't want to just half-ass it; if i'm doing this project, i'm doing something that sound legitimately interesting to me. oh well. could be worse.

tumblr was worth everything to find this

 

working on getting the small amount of homework done that i have for the break; just looking up some notes for a class i missed; shouldn't be too hard, just a bit time consuming. driving home saturday morning, by the looks of things, so that is good. now for some more tumblr stuff, because frankly, it is taking the place as my primary blog at the moment. slightly embarrassed at that admission, but it is what it is. much more interactive than blogger, but this will still be here! need to find a way to link the 2 up together... i'll work on that, but until then, i like these things. bingo indeed.
