(this took me exceptionally long to get the gif on here. google isn't perfect. i had to edit my own code.)

so, i think i've been neglecting this old blog. between schoolwork, which is just unnecessarily tedious, and the rest of the interwebs, i just haven't had the time for this. i do have some good things to report on though, wall-e not included.

first: a whole 3.5 years later, i see pictures that i didn't know existed from the Australia 2007 trip. ya see, i was looking for this specific picture of a thylacine that i KNOW i took in australia to use for an assignment. well that picture is lost somewhere, because i don't own it and i can't find it. but it led me to search ali's flickr, because it might have been there. i didn't even know she had photos from that far back, but i figured it was worth looking at. and then all of the sudden i get all these neat pictures that i had never seen before! oh the joys of not being in regular contact with siblings. i own them now (my google preference is showing).

second: fucking school work. and by school work, i primarily mean fucking south africa class. now don't get me wrong, going there will be totally awesome and much more enthralling than what i'm currently doing, but this class? no. it is filled with so much unnecessary busy work, i don't have time to do anything else! i do not see the point of an assignment every damn class where we re-hash everything that we've already said. this class has gotten to the point of beating a point so far into the ground that i am starting to have animosity towards it. but you can't say anything good about apartheid, just like you can't say anything good about the holocaust without being skewered by other people. fucking ridiculous.

third: i have 3 As and 2 Bs right now. can't remember the last time i was sporting more As than Bs... probably freshman year. certainly not last semester. lets keep this up.

so here are a few more fun things. can't get enough of this tumblr idea; super super addictive. i would not recommend. here are some lovely things (i cut back on the batman, even though that is primarily what i am finding for myself)
