right-o! super busy lately. studying for tests, revamping my computer & trying to set up a trip to south africa to couple with my honors project. the busy school work is all mostly based around this damn honors project, which i haven't even started yet, but it is taking up a majority of my life so far. i'm really quite amazed that i haven't been using this thing more often as an outlet for all the shit i've been doing, but i guess this just isn't the best thing for that. project will be something to do with biome comparison between north america and south africa. go figure

classes themselves are dull and tedious. very psychology driven - taking 2 psych classes - and the one bio class i have, is super hard because it is all microscopic. i don't do microscopes. i prefer things on the level of fully formed organism, not the cells of that organism for a virus to infiltrate!  then the honors 210 class is a joke, but with more busy work than a high school class.

in more interesting news to me - not that my honors project isn't interesting, it is just all i have been thinking about lately, and it has been driving me bonkers - my computer has been changed. i started it a few posts back when i showed off my new desktop icons. but now, i have none of those silly things; infact, i don't even have any desktop icons, save for my hard drive (wall-e). it is all concentrated in here

just focus on the bottom dock at first. fancy new apple logo, fancy new firefox logo (more on that in a minute) play button is itunes, camera is iphoto. eve is my destop, and the thing open is a listing of every single application i own (see the little scroll bar on the right). i was motivated to revamp my system after playing around with the new windows7 computers in the library, and although i didn't really do much like them, i did change my system enough for it to feel all fresh and new.

speaking of new, i also am a beta tester for firefox4. it doesn't quite work right yet (a bit of an issue playing youtube videos) but it is only in beta testing, after all.

but it also looks quite different. all my regulars located across the top with icons, tabs on top, i can even make it the whole screen if so desired. they got a few of their ideas from google chrome, which i have also been playing with, and am using as a back up browser for when this beta starts functioning like the beta test program that it is. so my computer is completely different than say, 2 weeks ago, and everything seems to be running smoother. i think this is just my way of telling apple to release a new damn update for the OS (lion please).

also, did i mention tumblr is neat?
