recipe of the day! (no, i didn't steal this. i made/wrote this. although admittedly, i'm sure someone else has made something similar to this before)

ingredients:
6oz pork, roughly cut into 1/2 cm cubes
2oz onion, diced small
2oz zucchini, diced small
1tbsp lime juice
15-20 wonton wrappers
1 egg
~16oz vegetable or canola oil

cooking:
preheat your oil to 350 degrees in a medium pot.

combine the pork, onion & zucchini in a small saute pan with oil. cook on medium high heat until pork is cooked through and the vegetables are transparent. add the lime juice, and let it absorb/cook off. remove from heat, add salt & pepper to taste & allow to cool.

take a wonton wrapper, and coat 2 edges with the beaten egg. place a spoonful of the mixture into the center of the wonton. fold the wonton over so that the 2 bare sides make contact with the 2 egg sides. press to seal & attempt to get as much air out of the filling as possible. you should have a rough triangle at this point. you may fold the loose edges in anyway you see fit.

fry in oil for ~1 minute, flipping once. remove and let dry/rest on a cooling rack lined with paper towels. once cool enjoy!
