so, what's going on in the interweb world? i finally have some breathing room again; school has been non-stop lately, but the next 2 weeks are much simpler than the previous fortnight. think we can cover everything quickly? i think so
anthropology - 98 on 2nd test. insanely simple and boring with genetics, but i guess that it can be difficult for some people...
physics - not as well as i would have liked on the first test, but it'll all be alright. with the way his grading system is, making up points isn't too hard. no need to worry unless i make another set of mistakes on the 2nd test...
chemistry - 88 on first test, which is a wonderful start, considering my misses were careless, so they're easily corrected
psychology - 92 on first test, so definitely a good start. the tricky part of the class starts now with the random group formation... one guy in my group seems like he'll do just fine, the other guy however might bring everyone down a bit. lucky we're allowed to kick people out if they aren't pulling their weight, which is awesome.
ASL - going well. still difficult, but really interesting. mid term in this coming week, but it should be relatively simple.
other - been kinda dull here lately; matt's been busy fucking his new girlfriend, and sam is often out with olga, so i've been seeing too much of trey. rather, it just makes me realized that i'll miss him as a roommate, because let's face it: dino is no trey. in both good and bad ways. but regardless, next year will be much easier going in the village, so it's all good.
a bit of good news - it looks like i might have a volunteer job at the NC Zoo this summer, which is totally awesome. i really wanted to find some kind of internship, or volunteer place this summer so i wouldn't have to go back to working so much. i'll still probably work a couple days a week, but it all depends
i talked with sydney this morning, and everything with her surgery went well, so that is very good news. we'll just have to wait and see how well this works...
um... not too much else really. the only other noticeably good thing is that it's finally getting warmer outside, so that is a relief.
oh yeah, i want this.
funny stuff:
so i was pulling for Plushenko in men's figure skating, and this is a major reason why. my roommates and i all think this was the inspiration for will ferrell's character in blade's of glory:
